Furnishings

Don’t have any furniture? No problem, the Palm Apartments can provide fully furnished units complete with Plasma TV’s and modular lounges to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A complete list of furnishings can be provided upon request

Cleaning and Servicing

The Palm Apartments are not serviced apartments, however if required we can arrange a weekly cleaning service on behalf of tenants that will be charged as an additional fee to your rent.

Telephone

Local telephone connection can be provided in each property if required. Standard connection fees apply.

Within walking distance are the beautiful harbour foreshore area, shopping malls and sporting ovals, not to mention that only a short drive away is several of Newcastle’s famous beaches.

 

 

Utilities

A normal utility connection is required for each tenant. If a corporate tenant is making a bulk booking, the on-site manager can offer a streamlined service on managing utility accounts.

Cable TV, High Speed and Wireless Internet

Each apartment has access to selected Austar channels. Broadband internet services can be provided on request. Please contact the Palm Apartment reception if you have any questions about these services.

Special Requests

If you have a need for additional furniture, such as cribs, desks or kitchen equipment, please contact the Palm Apartments and we will be happy to provide a list of available items and their additional hiring fees.

Payment options

Palm Apartments provides a single fortnightly invoice for the period of your stay. If a single client has multiple apartments with Palm Apartments, we offer a centralised billing process for all properties.

Shopping in Whyalla - Some details about where to shop

Whyalla has jut undergone a multi Million Dollar upgrade of the Westland's Shopping Centre. This has not only almost doubled the size of the Shopping Centre, but the Centre has also erected shade sails to provide cool undercover parking areas.

There are now a large number of specialty shops including Fresh Seafood outlets selling Fresh King George Whiting and of course The Big Red Snapper - caught right off the Whyalla Foreshore.

They also sell arguably the best oysters in Australia - from Coffin Bay delivered fresh by road daily. There is also the largest shopping precinct outside of Adelaide with over 100 specialty shops in the Forsythe St area..
